The project is being developed and currently owned by Amaila Falls Hydro.
The hydro reservoir capacity is planned to be 180 million cubic meter. The net head of the project will be 345m. The project is expected to generate 1,047 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $1,000m.
The hydro power project consists of 4 turbines, each with 41.25MW nameplate capacity.
