The project is expected to generate 1,141.4 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $360m.

Pucara Hydropower Plant (Pucara Acco) consists of 2 units of francis turbines with 13MW nameplate capacity.

Pucara Hydropower Plant (Pucara Pampa Hanza) consists of 2 units of francis turbines with 76MW nameplate capacity.

The Pucara Hydropower Plant (Pucara Acco) has 2 electric generators that will be installed at the Pucara Hydropower Plant (Pucara Acco) site.

The Pucara Hydropower Plant (Pucara Pampa Hanza) will have 2 electric generators installed at the Pucara Hydropower Plant (Pucara Pampa Hanza) site. The generator capacity is likely to be 76 MVA.

Development Status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2021.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Empresa Electricidad del Peru under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

AENZA SAA and Astaldi are expected to render EPC services for the hydro power project.
