Description
The project was developed by JJC Contratistas Generales and Tecnicas Reunidas. The project is currently owned by Engie Energia Peru with a stake of 61.77%.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel.
The project generated 9,460.76MWh of electricity. The project cost is $400m.

JJC Contratistas Generales and Tecnicas Reunidas were selected to render EPC services for the dual-fuel fired power project.
Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Dual-Fuel fired project. The company provided 3 units of SGT6-5000F gas turbines, each with 239.67MW nameplate capacity.
Siemens supplied SGen6-1000 electric generator for the project.
