Description

The project is currently owned by Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement And Power District with a stake of 100%.

It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is subbituminous, residual coal. In case of shortage of subbituminous, residual coal the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from McKinley Mine, Powder River Basin in Wyoming.

The project generated 3,597,872MWh of electricity.
