The project was developed by Andrade Gutierrez and Bardella SA Industrias Mecanicas. ArcelorMittal Piracicaba and Samarco Mineracao are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.
Guilman-Amorim is a run-of-river project. The project generated 535 GWh of electricity.
