The project generates 573,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 115,000 households, offsetting 600,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $226.424m.

The project is currently active. The project construction commenced in 2019 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in December 2021.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Eskom Holdings SOC under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.059kWh for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 144.9MW.
Contractors Involved
juwi was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Nordex was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 46 units of AW125/3150 turbines, each with 3.15MW nameplate capacity.
Nordex is the O&M contractor for the wind power project.
The wind power project consists of Concrete towers supplied by Nordex. These towers are around 100m high.
