The project is developed and owned by Enel Green Power Colombia.
El Paso Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 210 hectares.
The project generates 176GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 102,000 households, offsetting 100,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $70m.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to XM Compania de Expertos en Mercados under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.015kWh for a period of 20 years, starting from 2019. The contracted capacity is 67MW.
Contractors Involved
Enel was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
JinkoSolar Holding was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 250,000 modules each with 345W of nameplate capacity.
Siel supplied 48 of its Soleil DSPX TLH 1500 inverters to the project site.
The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by Soltec Energias Renovables.
