Marubeni Oita Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 105 hectares.
The project generates 87,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 30,000 households. The project cost is $251.701m.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Kyushu Electric Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
Contractors Involved
Hitachi was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Hanwha Q Cells was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 350,000 modules at the site.
The inverters were procured from Hitachi for the project.
Hitachi is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project, commencing from the year 2014.
