Allal Al Fassi is a 240MW hydro power project. It is located on Sebou river/basin in Fes-Meknes, Morocco. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 1994.

Description

The project was developed by Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy and is currently owned by Office National de l’Electricite et de l’Eau Potable.

The hydro reservoir capacity is 81.5 million cubic meter. The project generated 244 GWh of electricity.

Andritz Hydro was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 units of francis turbines.

Ercole Marelli Power supplied 3 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 94 MVA.
