Description
The project is currently owned by Florida Power & Light.
It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from Florida Gas Transmission Pipeline.
The project generated 5,621,768MWh of electricity. The project cost is $1,768.325m.
The Gas fired project consists of 1 steam turbine with 472MW nameplate capacity.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 4 units of 7F.04 gas turbines, each with 188MW nameplate capacity.
