Ilijan Combined Cycle Power Plant is a 1,200MW gas fired power project. It is located in Calabarzon, Philippines. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in June 2002.

Description
The project was developed by KEPCO Ilijan. Korea Electric Power, Mitsubishi, JERA, Marubeni and Kyuden International are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51%, 21%, 10%, 10% and 8% respectively.
It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant that is used for Baseload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel. The fuel is procured from Malampaya gas field, Shell Philippines Exploration B.V..
The project cost is $800m.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to National Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
Contractors Involved
Mitsubishi and Raytheon Technologies were selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.
Mitsubishi Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 4 units of M501G1 – 60Hz gas turbines, each with 200MW nameplate capacity.
Mitsubishi Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of TC2F-40 steam turbines, each with 200MW nameplate capacity.
Mitsubishi Power supplied Thyristor-Excited Type electric generator for the project.
Mitsubishi Power supplied steam boiler for the project.
Korea Electric Power is the O&M contractor for thermal power project.
