Owen Falls (Kiira) is equipped with Andritz Hydro kaplan turbines. The phase consists of 3 turbines with 41MW nameplate capacity.
Owen Falls (Kiira) is equipped with GE Renewable Energy propeller turbines. The phase consists of 2 turbines with 41MW nameplate capacity.
Owen Falls (Nalubaale) is equipped with Andritz Hydro kaplan turbines. The phase consists of 10 turbines with 18MW nameplate capacity.
GE Renewable Energy supplied 2 electric generators for the Owen Falls (Kiira). The generator capacity is 20 MVA.
