The project is currently owned by Druk Green Power.
Chukha is a reservoir based project. The gross head and net head of the project are 466.34m and 435m respectively. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 4 in number. The penstock length is 6,560m. The penstock diameter is 2.25m. The project generated 1,800 GWh of electricity.
The nameplate capacity of electric generator(s) installed at the site is 93.33 MVA.

Power Purchase Agreement
