Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Abu Dhabi Department of Energy under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.

Contractors Involved

Ansaldo Energia, Hyundai Engineering and Hyundai Engineering & Construction were selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

Ansaldo Energia was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 3 units of AE94.3A gas turbines, each with 257MW nameplate capacity.

Ansaldo Energia was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of MT20 steam turbines, each with 284MW nameplate capacity.

Ansaldo Energia supplied TRY-L56 Air Cooled, TRX-L56 Air Cooled electric generator for the project.

AC Boilers supplied steam boiler for the project.

Ansaldo Energia is the O&M contractor for thermal power project for a period of 25 years.
