Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by General Electricity Company Of Libya. The company has a stake of 100%.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant will be natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant will run on Distillate Fuel Oil. The fuel will be procured from National Oil Corporation (NOC).
