Description
The project is being developed by Power Construction Corporation of China. Power Construction Corporation of China and Hydroelectricity Investment and Development are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 54% and 46% respectively.
Tamor Storage is a run-of-river project. The gross head and net head of the project will be 198m and 169.73m respectively. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, is expected to be 4 in number. The penstock length will be 100m. The penstock diameter will be 6m.
The hydro power project consists of 4 units of francis turbines.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2025. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2028.
