The project is being developed by Korea Midland Power, Korea Southern Power and Orsted. The project is currently owned by Orsted with a stake of 100%.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 1,400,000 households, to offset 4,000,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
