Solarcentury Talayuela Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 520 hectares.
The project generates 570GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 150,000 households, offsetting 165,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Redeia Corporacion under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors involved
Canadian Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 830,000 modules each with 340W of nameplate capacity.
The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by Soltec Energias Renovables.
