Description
The project was developed by C-Power. C-Power Holdco, RWE, EDF Renewables, DEME Concessions Wind and Z-Kracht are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 55.86%, 28.72%, 10.28%, 3.07% and 2.06% respectively.
The wind turbines in the Thornton Bank Phase I are installed on fixed foundations. An array of gravity foundations feature in the phase.
The wind turbines in the Thornton Bank Phase II are installed on fixed foundations. An array of jacket foundations feature in the phase.
The wind turbines in the Thornton Bank Phase III are installed on fixed foundations. An array of jacket foundations feature in the phase.
The project generates 1,111,013MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 300,000 households, offsetting 415,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
