Description
The project is being developed by NHPC and North Eastern Electric Power. NHPC, North Eastern Electric Power and Government of Arunachal Pradesh are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 37%, 37% and 26% respectively.
Upper Siang is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is planned to be 10,000 million cubic meter.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2028. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2032.
