The project is being developed by Sidra One Electricity. Acwa Power, Saudi Electricity and Others are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40%, 40% and 20% respectively.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Saudi Power Procurement under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.

SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the gas fired power project.

The Gas fired project will be supplied by Doosan Enerbility and GE Vernova.

GE Vernova and The First National Operation & Maintenance are expected to be contracted for rendering of operations & maintenance services for the project.
