The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 0.72% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 17.7% share in October 2021, recording an increase of 0.03% over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 103.49% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Brazil’s power industry in October 2021.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 0.76% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Brazil’s power industry during October 2021 over September 2021.
Companhia de Transmissao de Energia Eletrica Paulista posted 366 IT jobs in October 2021 and registered a drop of 3.17% over the previous month, followed by Energisa with 14 jobs and a 75% growth. Enel with 10 IT jobs and Iberdrola with 4 jobs, recorded a 400% growth and a 20% decrease, respectively, while Schneider Electric recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during October 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.81%, down by 2.91% from September 2021. Entry Level positions with a 16.46% share, registered an increase of 8.2% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 8.73% share, up 29.63% over September 2021.
