The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 13.19% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Daimler IT hiring in September 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Daimler, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 59.26% in September 2021, and a 52.59% drop over August 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 17.59% in September 2021, and registered a decline of 17.39%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 11.11% in September 2021, a 45.45% drop from August 2021.

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 50.93% share, which marked a 48.11% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 31.48%, registering a 44.26% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 15.74% share and a 56.41% drop over August 2021.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.85% and a month-on-month increase of 100%.
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 48.15% share in September 2021, a 49.02% decline over August 2021. US featured next with a 28.7% share, down 41.51% over the previous month. India recorded a 7.41% share, a decline of 65.22% compared with August 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Daimler IT hiring activity in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.19%, down by 50.38% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 26.85% share, a decline of 44.23% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.96% share, down 41.67% over August 2021.
