Palma – Metoro Line is an overhead line that will be operated by Electricidade de Mocambique EP. The line will carry alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.

Approximately $71.4m was financed by the authorities to undertake the construction works of the project.

It produces electricity from hydro and thermal sources.
