The project, which is currently under construction, is expected to be commissioned in 2021.

Karot – Aliot Line is an overhead line that will be operated by National Transmission & Despatch. The line will carry alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.
The development of the Karot – Aliot Line project has been approved by the Water and Power Development Authority,Pakistan.
