This project is part funded by the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA). Construction as part of the storage system project, known as Energy Storage for Commercial Renewable Integration (ESCRI), was completed in April 2018. After the commissioning and testing phase, ESCRI is now live and connected to the National Electricity Market (NEM). ARENA provided AUD 12 million (USD 8.6m/EUR 7.5m) for the ESCRI project valued at AUD 30 million.
