Seri Bancos I Substation is a 400/230kV substation located in Seri Bancos, Sonora, Mexico. The construction works on Seri Bancos I Substation began in 2016. The project was commissioned in 2017.
Description
The Seri Bancos I Substation project is a new substation being operated by Comision Federal de Electricidad.
The designed voltage level of the project is 400/230kV, while the operating voltage level is 400/230kV. The step-in voltage of the substation is 400kV and the step-out voltage is 230kV. The substation capacity is 875MVA.
Seri Bancos I Substation has received approval from Secretaria de Energia de Mexico (SENER) to undertake the works on the project.
