Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in March 2021 with 37 tenders and a 34.9% share, followed by T&D Equipment with 30 tenders and a 28.3% share and T&D Project with 19 tenders and a 17.9% share during the month.
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Project Implementation: 34 tenders and a 91.9% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: three tenders and an 8.1% share.
Solar is top technology for Asia-Pacific power plant tenders in March 2021
Looking at power plant tenders by the type of technology in the Asia-Pacific region, solar accounted for 32 tenders with an 86.5% share, followed by thermal with two tenders and a 5.4% share and hydro with two tenders and a 5.4% share.
