The proportion of solar technology contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Project Implementation with 15 contracts and a 41.7% share
- Supply & Erection: ten contracts and a 27.8% share
- Power Purchase Agreement: eight contracts and a 22.2% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: two contracts and a 5.6% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: one contract and a 2.8% share.
China tops Asia-Pacific solar power contracts activity
China was the top country in the Asia-Pacific region for solar technology contracts recorded in January 2021 with 13 contracts and a 36.1% share, followed by India with seven contracts and a 19.4% share and Vietnam with four contracts and an 11.1% share.
