The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Project Implementation: 58 contracts and a 66.7% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: 18 contracts and a 20.7% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: ten contracts and an 11.5% share
- Supply & Erection: one contract and a 1.1% share.
Middle East and Africa leads T&D project activity in Q3 2020
Comparing contracts activity in T&D project segment in different regions of the globe, Middle East and Africa held the top position with 31 contracts and a share of 35.6% during Q3 2020, followed by Europe with 28 contracts and a 32.2% share and Asia-Pacific with 15 contracts and a 17.2% share.

Wind is leading technology for T&D project contracts in Q3 2020
Among the technologies, wind accounted for 21 contracts with a 63.6% share, followed by solar with seven contracts and a 21.2% share and thermal with three contracts and a 9.1% share.
