Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in June 2020 with 76 contracts and a 39.4% share, followed by T&D Equipment with 43 contracts and a 22.3% share and Generation Equipment with 36 contracts and an 18.7% share during the month.
The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Project Implementation: 63 contracts and an 82.9% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: ten contracts and a 13.2% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: three contracts and a 3.9% share.
Solar is top technology for Europe power plant contracts in June 2020
Looking at power plant contracts by the type of technology in the Europe region, solar accounted for 59 contracts with a 77.6% share, followed by wind with nine contracts and an 11.8% share and nuclear with seven contracts and a 9.2% share.

The top issuers of power plant contracts for the month in terms of power capacity involved in Europe were:

- Ministere de la transition ecologique et solidaire (France): 86.59MW from 54 contracts
