A group of sixty celebrities and prominent business people have signed a letter asking the UK Government to halt construction plans for the Sizewell C nuclear reactor until the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic is over.
The East Anglian Daily Times reports that signatories include Bill Nighy, Helen Atkinson as well as construction company Hopkins Homes executive chairman James Hopkins and former MP Ben Gummer.
