The proportion of solar technology contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Project Implementation with 33 contracts and a 45.8% share
- Power Purchase Agreement: 23 contracts and a 31.9% share
- Supply & Erection: ten contracts and a 13.9% share
- Electricity Supply: three contracts and a 4.2% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: two contracts and a 2.8% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: one contract and a 1.4% share.
India tops Asia-Pacific solar power contracts activity
India was the top country in the Asia-Pacific region for solar technology contracts recorded in Q3 2019 with 24 contracts and a 33.3% share, followed by Australia with 14 contracts and a 19.4% share and China with six contracts and an 8.3% share.
